Two Pronounced Dead after Four-Vehicle Collision near Oak Creek Road

TEHACHAPI, CA (December 4, 2024) – Wednesday morning, two men were killed in a four-vehicle crash on Tehachapi Willow Springs Road.

Authorities responded to the scene around 7:25 p.m., near Oak Creek Road.  

Investigators say the driver of a southbound Ford F-550 collided with a northbound GMC 3500 driven by a 51-year-old Lancaster man. 

In addition, a northbound Honda CRV and a northbound Chevy 2500 pickup-truck became involved.

Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced the 38-year-old man from Lancaster driving the Honda CRV and his passenger dead at the scene.

The Kern County coroner’s office will release the identity of the deceased victims once their next of kin has been notified.
