1 Killed, Pavitter Singh Nandra Involved in Head-On Big-Rig Collision on Antelope Boulevard [Red Bluff, CA]
27-Year-Old Driver Pronounced Dead after Semi-Truck Accident near Saint Mary’s Avenue
RED BLUFF, CA (December 4, 2024) – Late Sunday, one man was killed and Pavitter Singh Nandra was involved in a head-on crash on Antelope Boulevard.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene around 11:00 p.m., near Saint Mary’s Avenue on November 24th.
Troopers say 33-year-old Nandra, of Clovis was driving a 2019 Freightliner with a 53-foot box trailer east on the highway. For reasons unknown, the driver of an oncoming 2014 Honda crossed the center divider and collided head-on with the semi-truck.
Investigators say the 27-year-old male driver of the Honda was not wearing a seat belt. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the Honda driver dead at the scene.
Emergency crews shut down the surrounding roadway for a brief time.
Following preliminary duties, authorities suspect that alcohol was a contributing factor in the collision. An active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
