Man Pronounced Dead after Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash near Langham Creek

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (December 2, 2024) – Tuesday, one man died and Yusdenis Llano was arrested after a pedestrian crash on Addicks Satsma Road.

The Harris County Sherriff’s Office responded to the 6000 block of Addicks Satsuma Road near Langham Creek around 2:00 a.m., on November 20th.

Reports indicate that Llano was driving an SUV on the highway when he struck a couple who were walking along the road.

Upon impact, Llano did not stop to render aid and drove away from the scene.

Responding paramedics declared the boyfriend dead at the scene. Meanwhile, crews transported the girlfriend to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

Following preliminary duties, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Patrol District 4 located and arrested 39-year-old Llano. Officers booked him into jail with hit-and-run charges resulting in death and injury.

No additional information was added, and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office is handling further investigation.
