51-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near Berger Road

TEMPLE, TX (December 2, 2024) – Early Monday morning, Mark Stover was killed in a pedestrian accident on North General Bruce Drive.

The Temple Police Department responded to the 5900 block of North General Brice Drive near Berger Road around 5:00 a.m., on November 18th.

Troopers say the driver of a vehicle was leaving Interstate 35 on Exit 304 and struck a Stover who was walking on the off-ramp.

Emergency crews arrived and pronounced 51-year-old Stover dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. The Traffic Reconstruction Unit blocked the highway for several hours while they conducted further investigation.
