18-Year-Old Inglewood Man Killed in Fiery Car Accident near Palos Verdes Boulevard
REDONDO BEACH, CA (November 27, 2024) – Late Wednesday night, Keven Franco was killed in a single-car crash on Catalina Avenue.
Authorities responded to the scene around 11:17 p.m., near Palos Verdes Boulevard and Riviera Park.
According to police, a car crashed into a pole and started to catch on fire. However, further circumstances that led up to the incident remain under investigation.
Responding emergency personnel declared the driver of the vehicle dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, medics took his female passenger to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the deceased driver as 18-year-old Keven Franco of Inglewood.
