1 Killed in Skateboard Accident on Tower Bridge Gateway [West Sacramento, CA]
One Fatally Injured in Skateboard Collision near 5th Street
WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (November 27, 2024) – Tuesday evening, one victim was killed in a skateboard accident on Tower Bridge Gateway.
Around 7:03 p.m., first responders arrived to the scene near 5th Street after receiving multiple dispatch calls.
According to reports, the driver of a sedan struck a person riding a skateboard in the area. However, further circumstances leading up to the incident remain unclear.
Upon arrival, West Sacramento Police Officers and paramedics discovered the pedestrian with fatal injuries.
Despite life-saving efforts, paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.
Police said the driver of the vehicle involved stayed and cooperated with the investigation.
