One Victim Fatally Injured in Pedestrian Collision near East Braker Lane
AUSTIN, TX (November 26, 2024) – Early Tuesday morning, one unidentified person was killed in a pedestrian accident on Interstate 35.
Authorities responded to the 11000 block of Interstate 35 near East Braker Lane around 3:30 a.m., on November 12th.
Reports indicate that the driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian in the area. Upon impact, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the adult pedestrian dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.
The Texas Department of Transportation blocked all southbound lanes, and motorists were directed to exit 243. At this time, details on the crash are limited and further investigation is currently underway.
