Man Dies in Pedestrian Accident on Rose Street [Berkeley, CA]
78-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near Josephine Street
BERKELEY, CA (November 26, 2024) – Thursday evening, one man was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident on Rose Street.
Authorities responded to the scene around 6:17 p.m., at the intersection of Rose and Josephine Street near Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School.
Upon arrival, officers learned that a pedestrian struck a male pedestrian who was attempting to cross Rose Street.
Medical personnel rushed the victim to a Highland Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Officials only identified the victim as a 78-year-old Berkeley Man.
Police said the 79-year-old Berkeley woman driving the car remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
