Two Intoxicated Drivers Arrested after Three-Vehicle Accident near Village Creek Road

FORT WORTH, TX (November 25, 2024) – Monday morning, Rachel Hadley and another driver were arrested after a DUI collision on Highway 287.

Just before 2:30 a.m., police officers responded to the scene near Village Creek Road on November 11th.

The Fort Worth Police Department says Hadley drove her Ford Escape into a construction barrier.

Shortly after, the driver of a Dodge pickup-truck from a nearby construction site stopped to assist the woman. The driver of a passing Chevrolet Malibu then crashed into the Dodge, injuring a construction worker.

The impact caused serious injuries to the driver and the passenger of the Chevy. Paramedics arrived and transported all three occupants to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Following preliminary duties, authorities charged the Chevy driver with intoxication assault for driving while intoxicated and injuring another individual. In addition, crews charged 26-year-old Hadley with DUI.

Officials have not provided any additional information about the crash at this time; however, they will offer more details once available.
