55-Year-Old Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident near Stockton Boulevard 

ELK GROVE, CA (November 25, 2024) – Late Monday evening, a man was fatally hit in a pedestrian collision on Whitelock Parkway. 

Dispatchers received calls around 10:00 p.m., near Stockton Boulevard.

Reports indicate that the driver of a northbound vehicle struck a man who was walking north on the roadway. The impact caused life-threatening injuries to the male pedestrian.

Medics arrived and pronounced the 55-year-old man dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released his name or place of residency.

In addition, police say the involved driver initially fled the scene before returning 30 minutes later. Police said the involved driver cooperated with the investigators.

The Sacramento County Coroner’s office will release the identity of the deceased victim once available. Elk Grove Officials continue to investigate the Whitelock Parkway pedestrian crash.
