34-Year-Old Man Dies in Two-Vehicle Collision near Northeast 195th Street
BOTHELL, WA (November 25, 2024) – Thursday evening, one man was pronounced dead after a 2-car accident on Interstate 405.
The Washington State Patrol responded to the northbound lanes of the freeway around 8:00 p.m., near Northeast 195th Street on October 31st.
Investigators say the 34-year-old male driver of a northbound vehicle lost control and spun out before crashing into a barrier. The 59-year-old male driver of another car then struck the wrecked car.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the 34-year-old man dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released his identity.
Moreover, the driver of the second vehicle sustained injuries, and paramedics took him to Evergreen Hospital. His condition was not yet updated.
Responding troopers blocked the surrounding lanes while they cleared the scene. It was unknown if impairment played a role in the crash, and further investigation took place.
