49-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Accident near White Avenue

HOMELAND, CA (November 25, 2024) – Friday evening, a pedestrian collision on Highway 74 claimed the life of Lefty Linscott.

Around 9:15 p.m., first responders arrived to the scene near White Avenue on November 15th.

Authorities say 49-year-old Linscott walked onto the northbound shoulder and across the 4-lane highway.

There, the 32-year-old female driver of an eastbound 2016 Hyundai Elantra struck Linscott in the No.1 lane.

The impact caused life-threatening injuries to Linscott. Due to the extent of her condition, medics pronounced her dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the female driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Investigators say no charges were filed against the woman.
