Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision on Sycamore Avenue [Vista, CA]
One Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident near Shadowridge Drive
VISTA, CA (November 21, 2024) – Monday afternoon, one man was fatally struck in a pedestrian collision on Sycamore Avenue.
First responders arrived to the scene just after 2:00 p.m., near Shadowridge Drive on November 11th.
Police officers say the driver of a vehicle struck a man who was running outside of a marked crosswalk in the 800 block of Sycamore Avenue.
Medics arrived and transported the male pedestrian to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released his name or place of residency.
Meanwhile, the driver remained at the scene and fully cooperated with police.
