Two Brothers Fatally Injured in DUI Collision near Fairway Oaks Parkway
BEXAR COUNTY, TX (November 21, 2024) – Tuesday, Fabian Pedraza Rebollar and Rufino Pedraza Rebollar died in a DUI crash on Interstate 10.
Around 4:00 p.m., police officers responded to the scene near Fair Oaks Parkway on November 5th.
Reports indicate that Marilyn Denise Thompson crashed into two stalled vehicles in the area. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced one person dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported two others to University Hospital for further treatment, where one victim succumbed to his injuires.
Authorities later identified the deceased victims as 38-year-old Fabian, and 44-year-old Rufino. Police say that they were brothers.
Meanwhile, the suspect, identified as 53-year-old Thompson, was determined to be intoxicated and police arrested her. She was charged with intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle and aggravated assault.
No additional updates were released by the officials, and the crash remains under investigation.
