3 Pronounced Dead after Multi-Vehicle Collision near Renner Road

RICHARDSON, TX (November 21, 2024) – Thursday, Alyia Khalid, Haley Taylor, and a child were killed in a multi-car crash on Highway 75.

The Richardson Police Department responded to the southbound lanes of the freeway near Renner Road around 11:55 p.m., on October 31st.

Officers say 27-year-old Taylor was driving a Lexus SUV and rear-ended a stalled Cadillac SUV with seven occupants.

In addition, a Dodge and an 18-wheeler that were passing through the scene crashed into a nearby Nissan sedan.

Medics arrived and took the Lexus driver, 27-year-old Taylor and her 6-year-old daughter to a nearby hospital where they later died.

In addition, one of the Cadillac passengers, 19-year-old Khalid, died at the scene. The loved ones of Khalid set up a GoFundMe page to help with costs during this time.

Also, paramedics took the driver and passenger of the Dodge to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries. However, the drivers of the Nissan and the truck did not obtain any injuries.

Meanwhile, the troopers blocked the highway while they cleared the wreck. An investigation is underway.

Our deepest condolences and sympathies are with the family and friends of Alyia Khalid, Haley Taylor, and the young girl.
