37-Year-Old Tehachapi Man Pronounced Dead after Water-Truck Collision near 70th Street West
MOJAVE, CA (November 20, 2024) – Friday evening, a water-truck accident on Oak Creek Road claimed the life of Christopher James Wilson.
Around 4:27 p.m., authorities received dispatch calls near 70th Street West.
For reasons under investigation, the driver of a vehicle collided with a water truck at the intersection.
Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the driver dead at the scene. The Kern County Coroner’s Office later identified the deceased driver as 37-year-old Wilson, of Tehachapi.
It was unclear if the driver of the water truck sustained injuries from the crash. Authorities are asking those who witnessed the deadly two-vehicle crash to contact the California Highway Patrol as soon as possible.
