Two Men Killed in 2-Car Accident on 4th Avenue [Seattle, WA]
23-Year-Old Driver and 24-Year-Old Passenger Pronounced Dead after 2-Vehicle Collision near Pine Street
SEATTLE, WA (November 18, 2024) – Early Friday morning, two men were fatally injured in a 2-car accident on 4th Avenue.
Just before 12:40 a.m., police officers responded to the scene near Pine Street on October 11th.
Reports indicate that the driver of a northbound white sedan was traveling through a green light on 4th Avenue. There, the driver of a westbound SUV ran through a red-light and struck the sedan.
Upon arrival, first responders located the 23-year-old driver and a 24-year-old passenger of the SUV trapped inside. Crews immediately extricated both occupants and began performing life-saving measures.
Due to the extent of their condition, medics pronounced both occupants dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released their identities.
Meanwhile, the occupants of the sedan remained uninjured.
Officials have not made any arrests, and the Seattle Police Department’s traffic collision investigation squad is handling further investigation.
