One Pronounced Dead after Multi-Vehicle Collision near Osborn Road

PHOENIX, AZ (November 18, 2024) – Late Saturday morning, one man was fatally injured in a multi-car crash on 51st Avenue.

Phoenix Police Officers responded to the scene around 11:30 a.m., near Osborn Road on October 12th.

Investigators say the driver of a vehicle rear-ended another, causing the first driver to lose control and veer into the southbound lanes. There, the car struck a large semi-truck and a fourth vehicle.

First responders located the driver of the first vehicle trapped inside. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the severely injured victim dead at the scene.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased man.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
