Two Men Killed in Head-On Accident near Clifton Court Road
TRACY, CA (November 18, 2024) – Thursday afternoon, two men were pronounced dead after a head-on collision on Tracy Boulevard.
Authorities responded to the scene around 3:20 p.m., just south of Clifton Court Road.
For reasons under investigation, the driver of a Subaru crossed over the double-yellow lines and collided head-on with an oncoming Mercedes.
Responding EMTs declared the occupants of the Mercedes dead at the scene. Crews only described the victims as male, ages 58 and 53.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the 39-year-old Lodi man driving the Subaru to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Police also arrested the Lodi man for vehicular manslaughter charges. The CHP closed the southbound lanes of Tracy Boulevard at Clifton Court for several hours to conduct an investigation.
