Three Fatalities Reported after Head-On Collision near Diamond Ridge

KENDALL COUNTY, TX (November 14, 2024) – Tuesday night, Roger Waid, Patricia Waid, and Blake Waid were killed in a crash on State Highway 46.

First responders arrived to the scene around 8:00 p.m., at the 500 block of State Highway 46 West near Diamond Ridge on October 29th.

The Texas Department of Public Safety responded and found a Ford F-250 Super Duty truck and a Toyota Corolla that collided head-on.

Investigators say a 58-year-old man was driving the Ford, while Roger, Patricia, and Blake occupied the Toyota.

Despite life-saving efforts, crews later pronounced 50-year-old Roger, 53-year-old Patricia, and 14-year-old Blake dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported the driver of the Ford, Carl Sidney Galm to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Further circumstances leading up to the incident remain unclear. Once available, more details will be provided.
