Teenager Dies in Pedestrian Collision on Country Club Road [El Paso, TX]
18-Year-Old Victim Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash near Thornton Street
EL PASO, TX (November 13, 2024) – Early Friday morning, a teenager was killed in a pedestrian collision on Country Club Road.
Dispatchers responded to the 600 block of Country Club Road around 12:35 a.m., near Thornton Street on October 18th.
Investigators say the driver of a Ford Fusion struck a teenager in the area. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the 18-year-old victim deceased at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased victim.
Emergency crews shut down the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. El Paso Police Department Special Traffic Investigations Unit is conducting an active investigation about the crash on Thornton Street.
