21-Year-Old Motorcyclist Fatally Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash near Etiwanda Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 13, 2024) – Thursday, Sebastian Brown was fatally struck in a hit-and-run motorcycle crash on Devonshire Street.
Authorities responded to the scene around 9:50 p.m., near Etiwanda Avenue in Granada Hills.
Investigators say the rider of an eastbound motorcycle was traveling at high rates of speed on Etiwanda Avenue and failed to stop at a red-light.
As a result, the rider collided with a vehicle, ejecting the motorcyclist onto the westbound lanes.
There, two westbound vehicles struck the downed rider and fled the scene without rendering aid or contacting authorities. Investigators described the suspect cars as a white SUV and a white sedan.
Responding emergency personnel declared the motorcyclist, identified as 21-year-old Brown, dead at the scene.
The city of Los Angeles is offering a reward of up to $50,000 to anyone who can lead the police to the suspect’s arrest.
