1 Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Accident on State Route 167 [Auburn, WA]
One Fatally Struck in Motorcycle Collision near State Route 18
AUBURN, WA (November 13, 2024) – Tuesday afternoon, one victim was pronounced dead after a motorcycle accident on State Route 167.
The Washington State Department of Transportation responded to the scene just after 2:00 p.m., near State Route 18 on October 1st.
At this time, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, reports indicate that first responders located a motorcyclist down on the southbound lanes of State Route 167 upon arrival.
Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced the severely injured rider dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.
Meanwhile, troopers blocked the area for several hours, and all lanes were reopened by 5:30 p.m.
No further information on what led to the fatal motorcycle accident on State Route 167 was released, and the investigation remains ongoing.
