Unidentified Female Cyclist Dies in Bicycle vs Auto Accident near Interstate 680 Overpass
ALAMO, CA (November 12, 2024) – Late Wednesday morning, one woman was pronounced dead after a bicycle collision on Livorma Road.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene around 11:12 a.m., just underneath the Interstate 680 overpass.
According to officers, the male driver of a Toyota bZ3X crossover SUV hit a woman on a bicycle who was heading west.
Responding paramedics declared the woman dead at the scene after sustaining fatal injuries. At this time, the identity of the deceased female cyclist remains undisclosed to the public.
Police said the driver of the Toyota did not sustain injuries from the crash.
Emergency crews shut down the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
