Male Cyclist Fatally Struck in Auto vs Bicycle Collision near Douglas Boulevard
ROSEVILLE, CA (November 12, 2024) – Tuesday afternoon, one man was fatally injured in a bicycle accident on Harding Boulevard.
Dispatchers received calls around 3:10 p.m., near Douglas Boulevard.
At this time, the cause of the collision remains under active investigation. However, initial reports determined that a man riding his bicycle was struck by an unidentified vehicle.
Responding EMTs transported the bicyclist to a hospital where he died Tuesday night. Although, authorities have not yet released his name or place of residency.
Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
No arrests related to the collision have been made by authorities. Police officers eventually closed Harding Boulevard from Douglas Boulevard to Estates Drive for investigation.
