One Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near San Antonio Drive

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (November 12, 2024) – Saturday evening, one victim was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on San Pedro Drive.

The Albuquerque Police Department responded to the scene near San Antonio Drive on September 28th.

Officers say the driver of a northbound vehicle struck a pedestrian on San Pedro Drive. Upon impact, the driver fled the scene without rendering aid or contacting authorities.

Shortly after, a Toyota and a Kia also hit the pedestrian as they were down on the road. Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Medical personnel pronounced the victim deceased, due to the extent of their condition. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.

At this time, there were no leads on the suspect, and an active investigation is currently ongoing.
