One Pronounced Dead after Bicycle Accident on 59th Avenue
GLENDALE, AZ (November 12, 2024) – Saturday morning, one unidentified victim was killed in a bicycle accident on Colter Street.
The Glendale Police Department responded to the scene around 9:45 a.m., near 59th Avenue on October 12th.
Responding troopers say the driver of a southbound vehicle struck a cyclist in the area. However, further circumstances leading up to the incident remain unclear.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the bicycle rider dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.
Meanwhile, the involved driver remained and cooperated with the investigation. No charges were filed, and impairment was not believed to be a factor.
