Curtis Rosemond Dies in Pedestrian Collision on 19th Street [Lubbock, TX]
38-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Fatal Pedestrian Accident near Iola Street
LUBBOCK, TX (November 8, 2024) – Sunday evening, Curtis Rosemond was fatally struck in a pedestrian collision on 19th Street.
Police officers arrived to the scene just after 8:00 p.m., in the 6100 block of 19th Street near Iola Street on October 27th.
Upon arrival, the Lubbock Police Department found Rosemond lying on the roadway with no signs of life. Police later declared 38-year-old Rosemond dead at the scene, due to the extent of injuries sustained.
Investigators say the driver of an eastbound SUV struck the male pedestrian as he was attempting to cross the road.
Meanwhile, authorities have not released additional information on the crash, and further investigation remains ongoing.
