9-Year-Old Hospitalized, 39-Year-Old Woman Arrested after High-Speed Accident near South Lancaster Road
DALLAS, TX (November 6, 2024) – Wednesday, Monica Tutt was arrested and a young girl was hurt in a high-speed collision on Arden Road.
The Dallas Police Department responded to the 2100 block of Arden Road near South Lancaster Road around 12:30 a.m., on October 9th.
Upon arrival, crews determined that 39-year-old Tutt had crashed into a parked car while traveling at high speeds. Investigators also say Tutt fled the scene without rendering aid or contacting authorities.
Following preliminary duties, police officers located Tutt with a 9-year-old son in the backseat of the damaged vehicle. The impact of the collision caused serious injuries to the young boy.
Medical personnel quickly transported Tutt’s son to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Meanwhile, police arrested Tutt, who faces charges of intoxication assault and collision involving injury.
