Ralph Marin Fatally Struck in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on North Bristol Street [Santa Ana, CA]
31-Year-Old Santa Ana Man Killed in Pedestrian Collision near West Park Lane
SANTA ANA, CA (November 4, 2024) – Ralph Marin died early Sunday morning, in a pedestrian crash on North Bristol Street.
Dispatchers received calls around 12:30 a.m., near West Park Lane on October 20th.
Based on the initial investigation, the driver of an unidentified southbound vehicle hit a man who was walking across Bristol. Upon impact, the involved driver did not stop to render assistance to the victim and fled the scene.
Responding officers also determined that a second vehicle hit the victim while he was lying on the ground. Authorities said the second driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Paramedics later declared the male pedestrian dead at the scene. The Santa Ana officials identified the deceased victim as 31-year-old Marin, of Santa Ana.
The Santa Ana Police Department has not released any additional information about the runaway suspect or their vehicle.
