3 Adults, 2 Children Hurt in Two-Vehicle Collision near Elk Grove-Florin Road

VINEYARD, CA (October 9, 2024) – Early Tuesday evening, five victims sustained injuries in a 2-car accident on Bridalsmith Drive.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene around 5:00 p.m., near Elk Grove-Florin Road. 

For reasons under investigation, two vehicles collided near the intersection, sending one of the cars into a nearby canal.

Investigators did not provide the make and model of the vehicles involved in the crash. 

In total, five people suffered injuries from the incident. One of the patients was transported to a hospital for treatment of significant injuries. 

Paramedics also took two juvenile patients to a local hospital with minor to moderate injuries. The remaining parties involved declined further medical transport. 

Sacramento County Officials will provide more information regarding the Bridalsmith Drive two-vehicle crash once it is available.
