Roberto Vasquez II Killed in T-Bone Crash on Goldenrod Avenue [Fresno County, CA]
27-Year-Old Driver Pronounced Dead after Stop-Sign Collision near Jensen Avenue
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (October 8, 2024) – Late Sunday morning, Roberto Vasquez II was killed in a t-bone crash on Goldenrod Avenue.
The incident happened around 11:30 a.m., near Jenson Avenue on September 29th.
Reports indicate that Vasquez II was driving a white Toyota Tundra, and traveled through a stop-sign at the intersection. As a result, the Toyota t-boned another vehicle, driven by a mother with two infant children.
The impact caused both the vehicles to overturn and come to rest in a nearby field.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced 27-year-old Vasquez II dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the mother and her two children sustained minor to moderate injuries. Responding paramedics immediately transported them to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Following preliminary duties, authorities did not suspect that alcohol was a contributing factor.
