Nine Injured in Van vs Pickup-Truck Collision near East Mountain View Avenue

KINGSBURG, CA (October 7, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a 2-car accident on South Bethel Avenue left at least nine people injured.

Police officers responded to the scene around 6:00 a.m., near East Mountain View Avenue after receiving multiple dispatch calls in the area.

According to the Kingsburg Police, the driver of a westbound black Dodge pickup-truck collided with a Chevrolet Astro van. Investigators say the Chevy traveled in front of the Dodge’s path, leading to the collision.

Paramedics rushed a total of six people inside the Dodge and three occupants inside the van to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released their identities.

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. The Kingsburg Police Department continues to investigate the collision.
