22-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck in Motorcycle Accident near Memorial Drive

HOUSTON, TX (October 4, 2024) – Wednesday evening, one woman was fatally struck in a motorcycle collision on South Piney Point Road.

The Houston Police Department responded to the scene around 9:00 p.m., near Memorial Drive on September 11th.

Per reports, the female rider of a motorcycle was heading west on Memorial Drive and attempted to make a left turn onto South Piney Point Road. There, she collided with a Subaru Outback.

Paramedics arrived and airlifted the 22-year-old motorcyclist to Memorial Hermann Hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

At this time, authorities have not yet released the victim’s name or place of residency.

Meanwhile, the Subaru driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. No other information was added, and the motorcycle collision on South Piney Point Road remains under investigation.
