Four Pronounced Dead after Fiery Multi-Vehicle Collision near White Street

ANNA, TX (October 4, 2024) – Friday afternoon, Dharshini Vaslodevan, Aryan Raghunatt Orampat, Lokesh Palacharla and a man were killed in a car crash.

Authorities responded to the scene on the northbound lanes of US Highway 75 near White Street on August 30th.

Upon arrival, first responders located five damaged vehicles. In addition, investigators say one of the vehicles was engulfed in flames.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced four people dead at the scene. Crews later identified three of the victims as 23-year-old Vaslodevan, 25-year-old Orampat, and 29-year-old Palacharla.

In addition, another man was killed in the collision. However, he remains unidentified.

During preliminary duties, authorities shut down the surrounding area for a brief time.

At this time, authorities have not released additional information, and the Anna Police Department is handling further investigation.
