Two Hospitalized after Suspected DUI Collision near Parkland Farms Boulevard
HEALDSBURG, CA (October 3, 2024) – Thursday, a driver was injured and Glenn Merrifield was arrested after a motorcycle crash on Healdsburg Avenue.
Around 12:19 p.m., police officers responded to the intersection of Healdsburg Avenue and Parkland Farms Boulevard.
Upon arrival, officers determined a motorcyclist crashed into a vehicle in the area. Paramedics quickly transported the severely injured rider to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
In addition, medics treated the other involved driver at the scene for moderate injuries.
Investigators later determined that the motorcyclist was driving under the influence. Officials arrested 50-year-old Glenn Merrifield, of Windsor for felony DUI causing injury and possession of controlled substances.
At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Healdsburg Officials will provide more information regarding the fatal two-vehicle crash once available.
