One Killed, One Injured in Two-Vehicle Pickup-Truck Collision near Hampton Road

OAK CLIFF, TX (October 2, 2024) – Monday morning, one unidentified victim was killed in a 2-car accident on West Davis Street.

First responders arrived to the 2500 block of West Davis Street around 8:30 a.m., near Hampton Road on September 9th.

Investigators say the driver of a pickup-truck pulled out of a driveway and collided with another vehicle. Upon arrival, authorities located one person pinned inside one of the vehicles.

Emergency crews extricated the trapped occupant and performed CPR. Paramedics quickly transported both victims to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics later pronounced one of the victims deceased. Although, police officers have not yet released their identity.

Responding personnel closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Once available, more details will be provided.
