39-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies in Rear-End Accident near Radford Street

EL PASO, TX (October 1, 2024) – Sunday evening, Alex Cole Bustamante was killed in a motorcycle collision on Gateway East Boulevard.

Authorities responded to the scene around 6:30 p.m., near Radford Street on September 22nd.

Texas Police Officers reported that Bustamante was riding a motorcycle at a high rate of speed behind a Chevrolet Tahoe.

The Chevy driver then attempted to maneuver our of the motorcyclist’s way, but was unable to do so in time. The motorcyclist then rear-ended the Chevy, ejecting the rider onto the road.

Responding paramedics transported 39-year-old Bustamante, of Santa Teresa, to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
