17-Year-Old Passenger Pronounced Dead After a Violent Car Accident near Yukon Road
ODESSA, TX (September 26, 2024) – Early Wednesday evening, Fabian Navarro was killed in a 3-vehicle crash on Andrews Highway.
Authorities responded to the scene just before 5:30 p.m., near Yukon Road on September 11th.
The Odessa Police Department determined that the driver of a 2007 gray Pontiac was heading east and failed to yield to the right-of-way as it turned south.
As a result, the Pontiac struck a gray Honda that was merging into the intersection. In addition, a white Ford F-350 became involved.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced an occupant inside the Pontiac, 17-year-old Navarro, dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Ford and the teenage driver of the Pontiac sustained minor injuries, and both were taken to Medical Center Hospital. The Honda driver did not obtain any injuries.
There is no additional information publicly available about the crash at this time, but authorities will release more details once they are available.
