Solo-Motorcycle Crash near El Cariso Campground Left 20-Year-Old Eastvale Man Dead

LAKE ELSINORE, CA (September 26, 2024) – Sunday afternoon, Arnulfo Nungaray was killed in a motorcycle accident on Highway 74.

Authorities responded to the scene around 4:32 p.m., at the 30700 block of Ortega Highway near the El Cariso Campground.

Investigators say the rider of an eastbound 2023 Suzuki GSX-R750 failed to navigate a left-hand turn.

As a result, the motorcycle veered off the highway and struck a guardrail, ejecting the rider onto the road.

First responders declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene. The coroner’s office later identified the deceased rider as 20-year-old Nungaray, of Eastvale.

No other injuries were reported from the incident. At this time, the CHP’s Temecula Area office is leading the investigation.
