63-Year-Old Man Hospitalized after Bicycle-Auto Collision near 79th Street
LOS ANGELES, CA (September 25, 2024) – Monday evening, Kennedy Coleman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run bicycle crash on Hoover Street.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m., near 79th Street.
Los Angeles Police Officers say the driver of an unidentified vehicle struck a man who was riding his bicycle. The impact threw the cyclist onto the ground, causing serious injuries.
As the man attempted to get back on the bicycle, a northbound sedan on Hoover Street also hit the male victim.
Responding paramedics transported the bicyclist – identified as 63-year-old Kennedy Coleman – to a hospital in critical condition.
