1 Pronounced Dead after Multi-Vehicle Collision on Farm-to-Market Road 969 [Austin, TX]
One Fatally Struck in Multi-Car Accident near State Highway 130
AUSTIN, TX (September 24, 2024) – Wednesday, one person was pronounced dead after a multi-vehicle collision on Farm-to-Market Road 969.
Authorities responded to the scene just before 7:00 a.m., near State Highway 130 on August 7th.
Police officers stated that four vehicles collided in the area for reasons under investigation. In addition, emergency crews had to extricate one victim who was trapped inside their vehicle.
Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced the severely injured victim dead at the scene. Although, investigators have not yet released their name or place of residency.
Paramedics transported at least four others to Dell Seton Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
During preliminary duties, troopers blocked both directions of FM-969, and motorists were advised to seek other routes. Lanes have been reopened since the area was cleared.
No other information was added by the troopers, and the deadly crash on Farm-to-Market Road 969 remains under active investigation.
