One Occupant Fatally Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision near Rockride Lane

GEORGETOWN, TX (September 24, 2024) – Thursday afternoon, one victim was killed in a 2-car accident on Sam Houston Avenue.

The Georgetown Police Department responded to the scene just before 1:45 p.m., near Rockride Lane on August 8th.

For reasons under investigation, two vehicles collided in the area.

First responders located both vehicles damaged at the scene. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced one victim dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.

In addition, paramedics transported at least two others to Ascension Seton for further treatment of unspecified injuries.

Moreover, the collision resulted in a power outage along the Saddle Creek subdivision.

Emergency crews blocked off multiple lanes for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. No other information was released by investigators, and the 2-car accident on Sam Houston Avenue remains under investigation.
