1 Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Accident on Hillview Road [Austin, TX]
One Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near Exposition Boulevard and Enfield Road
AUSTIN, TX (September 24, 2024) – Thursday morning, one person was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident on Hillview Road.
The Austin Texas Police Department responded to the scene just after 9:00 a.m., near Exposition Boulevard and Enfield Road on August 8th.
Police officers say the driver of a vehicle struck two pedestrians near the Howson branch of the Austin Public Library.
Due to the extent of their condition, crews pronounced the other victim deceased at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.
Additionally, medics also transported one of the pedestrians to Dell Seton Medical Center for further treatment of life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
