49-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Minivan vs Pedestrian Collision near Cutler Drive

CUTLER, CA (September 23, 2024) – Saturday evening, one man was pronounced dead after a pedestrian accident on 1st Drive.

Dispatchers received calls around 10:15 p.m., near Cutler Drive. First responders arrived to the scene shortly after.

Investigators say the driver of a black Dodge Caravan was heading west on 1st Drive and struck a male pedestrian who was attempting to cross in a northwest direction.

Despite life-saving efforts, paramedics pronounced the 49-year-old male pedestrian dead at the scene. However, his name remains undisclosed to the public. 

Meanwhile, the 55-year-old Visalia woman driving the Dodge remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. 

Police do not suspect alcohol or drugs to be a factor in the incident. Cutler Officials are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the 1st Drive pedestrian crash.
