Adrian Mendez Ibarra Killed, 1 Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision on Palm Drive [Desert Hot Springs, CA]
28-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Two-Car Collision near Camino Aventura
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (September 18, 2024) – Early Saturday, Adrian Mendez Ibarra was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Palm Drive.
Authorities responded to the scene around 4:00 a.m., at the 15600 block of Palm Drive just north of Camino Aventura.
Investigators say the driver of a northbound vehicle veered into oncoming traffic for reasons unknown.
As a result, the wrong-way car collided head-on with another vehicle on the southbound lanes.
First responders declared the northbound driver dead at the scene. The coroner’s office later identified the deceased driver as 28-year-old Ibarra.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the second driver to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
