51-Year-Old Unidentified Woman Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash near Stratford Road

MOSES LAKE, WA (September 17, 2024) – Thursday, one woman was fatally struck in a pedestrian collision on State Route 17.

First responders arrived to the scene on the northbound lanes of the freeway just south of Stratford Road on September 5th.

Per reports, the driver of a northbound vehicle struck a woman in the far left lane who was crossing State Route 17 from south to north.

Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the 51-year-old female pedestrian dead at the scene due to the extent of injuries sustained. Although, authorities have not yet released her name or place of residency.

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.

Once available, more details about the deadly incident will be provided to the public about the fatal collision on State Route 17.
