23-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Big-Rig Accident near Bell Road

YAKIMA COUNTY, WA (September 17, 2024) – Friday afternoon, a semi-truck collision on State Route 24 claimed the life of Daniela Torres.

Police officers responded to the scene near Bell Road around 3:30 p.m., on September 6th.

Washington State Troopers say Torres was heading north while the driver of a semi-truck was heading east.

For reasons under investigation, Torres failed to yield the right-of-way to the semi-truck and the two vehicles collided.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced 23-year-old Torres dead at the scene.
