Four Hurt in 4-Car Accident on Highway 154 [Santa Barbara County, CA]
4 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision near Lake Cachuma
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, CA (September 13, 2024) – Friday afternoon, four victims were hospitalized after a 4-car accident on Highway 154.
Units from the Santa Barbara County Fire responded to the scene around 2:13 p.m., at the 1300 block of Highway 154 near Lake Cachuma.
According to the initial report, four vehicles collided and blocked the highway lanes.
Dispatchers also received calls that a red Volkswagen veered into the opposing lanes and collided with a white sedan.
Emergency personnel transported four people to a nearby hospital via American Medical Response ambulance with minor injuries.
California Highway Patrol officers closed the surrounding area of Highway 154 while crews cleared the scene.
The identities of the parties involved in the multi-vehicle crash have not been disclosed to the public. At this time, CHP Buellton continues to investigate the cause of the 4-car accident on Highway 154.
