Two Suspects Apprehended after High-Speed Chase near Shaw Avenue

CLOVIS, CA (September 10, 2024) – Wednesday, Donald Henderson and another suspect were arrested after a hit-and-run crash on Peach Avenue.

The Clovis Police Department responded to the scene around 5:00 p.m., near Shaw Avenue on September 4th.

Initially, authorities received a report about a parolee in possession of an assault rifle. Upon arrival, troopers located a vehicle with the driver and 34-year-old Henderson.

However, the driver failed to comply with the officers and took off, leading to a pursuit. The suspect then crashed into another vehicle at the intersection of Peach and Gettysburg Avenue.

Investigators say Henderson and the driver fled the scene by foot and entered an apartment complex near a 7-Eleven store. Consequently, a K9 was deployed and Henderson was located.

Meanwhile, the driver was apprehended at the apartment complex. Both Henderson and the driver were arrested and taken into custody.
